Corvette 1967: Deuces Wild
IMAGE_BUTTON_PREVIOUS Image3/8 IMAGE_BUTTON_NEXT

Deuces wild!

Talk about a winning hand!  Three deuces to a full-house 427, the Turbo-Jet V8’s got it cold.  And that’s precisely what Corvette offers, among other things, in the new ’67 Sting Ray.  In fact, you can order it two ways:  400 horsepower with hydraulic lifters or 435 horses with solid lifters and a real special performance camshaft.

On the other hand, you traditionalists can still get the 427 V8 with a big four-barrel on top, putting out 390 horses.  The whole works comes with that well-known Corvette independent rear suspension, 11 3/4 –inch disc brakes all around, new 1967 styling touches and comforts galore.  And it has safety features like the GM-developed energy-absorbing steering column and seat belts with pushbutton buckles, standard.

Take the base 300 horsepower Turbo-Fire 327 V8 or order any of the other four engines available.  Decide on the extras, like AM-FM radio, you can add.  Choose the standard three-speed or Powerglide ot the four-speed gearbox you can order.  Shuffle up the equipment the way you want it and deal yourself a Sting Ray.
